 REPORT ON TWINNING OF SCHOOL PROGRAMME 2023

Twinning of School Programme under Samagra Shiksha aims at sharing best practices on academic and co- curricular activities between partner schools. Govt. New Sec. School has been paired with Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Namchi. The programme gives an opportunity to the students to learn n share new ideas/ knowledge in a new environment, to make new friends and create beautiful memories… It also help build stronger relationships between student-student, student-teacher and teacher-teacher of both schools.
DAY - 1
The selected 20 students of class lX reached Govt. Sr. Sec. School (host school) at 9.30 AM along with the escort teacher. They attended the morning assembly where Sahyoug Lohar ( Vice School Prefect) addressed the assembly with a formal greeting and Buddha Hang ( Vice Cleanliness Prefect) presented the flower pot to the Principal as a token of love from our school family. After the assembly, the students attended the regular classes. In the end, students visited the library and smart classroom where they shared their experiences with the teachers of paired schools.
It was indeed a great learning experience!

  TWINNING of SCHOOL Programme-2023 Day 5 Activity 28. 04. 2023 (Friday) It was a concluding day for the students of both schools. An interesting activity was conducted on the final day. The activity was based on the topic ‘My Culture, My Pride’. Class IX students of both schools were asked to come to the school in their traditional attire. The students were divided into five groups. Each group was comprised of mixed students from both schools and they were given a different name (like Godavari, Sunakhari, Sayapatri, Gulaab, Makhamali). Firstly, each group were given Nepali letters (Vyanjan Varna and Swar Varna) written on small chits. Each group were asked to frame as many words out of given letters and paste it in the chart paper supplied to them within a given time. Secondly, the groups were asked to write essay on one of the festivals within a stipulated time.
