TWINNING of SCHOOL Programme-2023
Day 5 Activity

It was a concluding day for the students of both schools. An interesting activity was conducted on the final day. The activity was based on the topic ‘My Culture, My Pride’. Class IX students of both schools were asked to come to the school in their traditional attire.
The students were divided into five groups. Each group was comprised of mixed students from both schools and they were given a different name (like Godavari, Sunakhari, Sayapatri, Gulaab, Makhamali). Firstly, each group were given Nepali letters (Vyanjan Varna and Swar Varna) written on small chits. Each group were asked to frame as many words out of given letters and paste it in the chart paper supplied to them within a given time. Secondly, the groups were asked to write essay on one of the festivals within a stipulated time. Thirdly, different pictures were supplied to each group to identify them and write their names in nepali language. Fourthly, the representatives of each of group were asked to tell something about their attire like the names of ornaments, custumes, as they were wearing attire representing different nepali communities. Finally, one of the groups was declared winner of the last activity.
In the end, students from both schools shared their learning experiences about five days twinning programme. Prizes and awards were distributed to all the winners. Prizes like Best Student Award, Congeniel Student Prize, Best Volleyball Player were given away to the students of Govt. Sr. Sec. School for their encouragement. Certificate of Participation was also distributed to them. Refreshments was served to all them by the school. All of them seemed overjoyed to be a part of such a beautifully organised programme.
